Last view of the Sounds

I'm back home, but am posting the last views from the tracks around Torea Saddle. The gradual 90 min walk from Torea towards Endeavour Inlet was very enjoyable. Here are some views. However, towards Anakiwa, the track starts very steeply and I gave up after 30 mins!

I returned to Christchurch on the 31st and watched the meagre fireworks from my B & B window which was 2 blocks from Cathedral Square where all the festivities were held. HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009!
